Makeup Artist Client Terms & Conditions
By booking an appointment, clients agree to the following terms to ensure a respectful, safe, and professional experience for both the client and the makeup artist.
1. Booking & Deposits
Appointments may require a non-refundable deposit to secure the date and time. Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
2. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Clients must provide at least 24–48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in the loss of the deposit and may require full payment for future bookings.
3. Travel
Clients are responsible for covering all travel expenses incurred by the MUA (Makeup Artist), including transportation and any applicable accommodation costs.
4. Punctuality
Clients are expected to arrive on time with a 15 minute grace period. Late arrivals may result in a shortened appointment or cancellation if it affects other scheduled clients.
5. Hygiene & Health
Clients should inform the artist of any skin conditions, allergies, or sensitivities prior to the appointment. This will also help the end result look its best. The artist reserves the right to refuse service if a condition may compromise hygiene, safety, or the quality of the service.
6. Respectful Conduct
All clients are expected to treat the artist with professionalism and respect. Discriminatory, abusive, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
7. Inclusive & Safe Space
This is an inclusive space that respects LGBTQ+ identities. Clients must respect the artist’s identity, boundaries, and pronouns.
8. Right to Refuse Service
The artist reserves the right to refuse or stop service if a client’s behavior creates an unsafe, disrespectful, or uncomfortable environment.
9. Photos & Portfolio
Photos of completed work may be taken for portfolio or promotional purposes unless the client requests otherwise prior to the appointment.
10. Payment
Full payment is due at the end of the appointment unless agreed otherwise. Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of booking.
